Videoline's VH6816-SAN is a 16-channel 2U network video recorder with eight SATA drive bays and an eSATA port. It decodes H.265, H.264 and MJPEG, previews and records at up to 12MP, and has two HDMI outputs plus VGA and four USB 2.0 ports. ONVIF 2.4 conformance lets it record other makers' IP cameras as well as Videoline's.
An NVR records IP cameras over the network. Every Videoline NVR conforms to ONVIF, so it records other makers' IP cameras as well as Videoline's.
