PoE Switches & Media Converters

PoE switches carry data and power to IP cameras over one Ethernet cable, so the cameras need no separate power supply. Videoline makes 4-, 8- and 16-port PoE switches; the 8- and 16-port models are gigabit, and the 16-port model fits a standard 19-inch rack and has two SFP ports for fiber uplinks. In Extend mode a port reaches a camera up to 250 m away, and every switch has 4 kV surge protection. For longer runs, the MC7100-10C gigabit media converter carries the network over fiber for up to 120 km.
